The story of Joshua

This series follows the story of Joshua, who leads the people of Israel to the promised land after many years spent in the wilderness. Along their journey, they experience miracles such as the conquest of Jericho. Upon reaching the high walls of Jericho, a city seemingly impossible to conquer, Joshua receives from God a conquest plan that tests his faith. This captivating series marks the beginning of a new era for the people of Israel under Joshua’s leadership and brings to the forefront adventure, faith, and trust in God in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Episode 1 – A new Leader for Israel

In the first episode of this series, we encounter the events following the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and the crossing of the Red Sea. We see how the 12 spies from Israel explore the Promised Land and bring back reports about it. Additionally, we witness the moment when Joshua is designated as the successor to Moses at the head of the Jewish people, preparing to lead them in the conquest of their promised land by God.

Episode 2 – Spies in Jericho

The people of Israel approach Jericho, a strongly fortified city. Joshua decides to send two spies to investigate the weaknesses of the city. Although the two are discovered, they manage to escape thanks to the intervention of a woman from Jericho named Rahab.

Episode 3 – The conquest of Jericho

God speaks to Joshua and presents him with an unusual plan for the conquest of the city of Jericho. The Israelites are instructed to march around the walls of the city for six days, and on the seventh day, to march around them seven times. At their shout, the walls will fall. Joshua and the people of Israel choose to obey this divine command, and God demonstrates His power through yet another miracle, leading to the fall of the high walls of Jericho.

Episode 4 – The sun stood still

The people of Israel experience an extraordinary miracle: at Joshua’s request, the sun and the moon stand still to help them defeat their enemies. This remarkable event marks a unique day in history, where time itself seems to pause to support the people of Israel in their battle. This miracle underscores God’s power to intervene on behalf of the faithful and those committed to fulfilling His will.

Episode 5 – Me and my house

In this episode, the people of Israel continue the process of conquering the Promised Land. With Joshua aging, he divides the land among the twelve tribes. Caleb, one of the oldest Israelites, asks Joshua for permission to conquer the mountain of Hebron. Meanwhile, Joshua rededicates himself to the Lord, and the entire people follow him in this decision, demonstrating their faith and devotion to God.
